The American Association of Hispanics in Higher Education (AAHHE), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, affirms that its programs, fellowships, and awards are open to all eligible applicants regardless of race, ethnicity, or national origin. While AAHHE’s mission remains committed to advancing equity in higher education and highlighting the experiences and contributions of Hispanic/Latino/Latinx communities, the Association does not condition eligibility for participation or recognition on racial or ethnic identity. AAHHE is currently reviewing and updating its program and award language through its governance processes to ensure continued alignment with applicable laws and regulations while upholding its mission.
