AAHHE Library: Latinidades in Print

The American Association of Hispanics in Higher Education (AAHHE) is proud to introduce its inaugural AAHHE Library: Latinidades in Print, a new online platform designed to showcase on the AAHHE website the creative and scholarly published works of the AAHHE member community. As part of our commitment to uplifting voices in academia and beyond, this initiative will showcase member-authored books published by a publishing house or self-published.

The AAHHE Library: Latinidades in Print is a member-focused initiative and is a valuable membership benefit available exclusively to AAHHE members who agree to affiliate with AAHHE for the purpose of this initiative. All books included in the AAHHE Library: Latinidades in Print must support and align with AAHHE’s mission and values. AAHHE members can enroll in this program twice during the year; and only one book per author is eligible for consideration to be showcased on the AAHHE website and promotional materials per year.  Members who have authored multiple books will have an opportunity to submit a different book after one year of being showcased on the AAHHE website; that is, after 12 months of being showcased on the AAHHE website, a submitted book may be replaced with a new title during an open enrollment period.  For multi-author books, at least one listed author of a book must be an active member of the association for the book to be showcased on the AAHHE website. Participation in the program is voluntary.

AAHHE Library: Latinidades in Print and AAHHE Books of the Year Awards Disclaimer

Inclusion of books authored by AAHHE members in the AAHHE Library: Latinidades in Print does not guarantee eligibility for the AAHHE Books of the Year Awards. Similarly, book submission to and nomination for the AAHHE Books of the Year Awards does not guarantee that these books will be showcased in the AAHHE Library. Participation in one program does not imply participation in or eligibility for another program; each AAHHE program follows its own criteria and review process.
