Sandra Bertram Grant, PhD, is an assistant professor in Counseling Psychology at the University of Denver. Her research focuses on exploring strategies and interventions that will promote academic success and student retention, as well as increased representation of Latina/os in leadership roles. Her work is guided by a clear purpose: to promote diverse and effective liderazgo and to expand pathways for those historically underrepresented in higher education. She strongly believes in AAHHE’s mission to cultivate leadership and amplify the impact of Latine professionals across academia.

Bertram Grant completed a PhD from the University of Denver, Master’s degree from the University of Missouri and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas. Her fellowships and awards include an American Psychological Association Minority Predoctoral Fellowship and APA Division 17 Donald E. Super Fellowship.
