Nevada State College

 The 2022 AAHHE Conference will take place in the Roger Student Center (RSC) Building Kasner Academic Building (KAB) and the Christenson Education Building (CEB). For the location of these buildings on campus, please see the campus map here. The City of Henderson 

The City of Henderson has grown to more than 103 square miles and is the second largest city in Nevada. Henderson is often referred to as having small town values with big city efficiencies. The city's official slogan "Henderson-a Place to Call Home" reflects a community that enjoys small town values while benefiting from big city efficiencies. Transportation to/from the Airport

McCarran International Airport is located about 25 minutes from the Nevada State College campus. There are many transportation options available such as taxis, car rentals, ride share services, and more. For the 2022 conference, AAHHE is following Covid-19 CDC protocols and Nevada State College Covid-19 policies and procedures:

• Face coverings are required for all students, employees, and members of the public at a Nevada State College building or at any Nevada State College events.
• Conference participants and presenters must wear a mask at all times in any indoor and outdoor setting. No eating will be allowed in an indoor setting.
• On September 30, 2021 the NSHE Board of Regents approved an emergency amendment to NSHE Code that sets forth policies and procedures enacting a mandatory COVID-19 vaccine requirement for all NSHE employees.  Under this policy, all NSC employees are required to complete a full COVID-19 vaccine series by December 1, 2021.  This policy is located in Title 2, Chapter 12 of the NSHE Board of Regents Handbook which can be found here.
• AAHHE staff, agents and representatives must have completed a COVID-19 vaccination series before they will be permitted on NSC property.
• Readily available hand sanitizers will be provided throughout the conference.

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement to attend the 2022 AAHHE National Conference (in person)

As we prepare to gather for the national conference, the AAHHE Board is mindful of the current spread of COVID-19 variants and, in order to promote a healthier and safer meeting environment, has decided that all conference presenters, attendees, AAHHE staff, board members, and onsite vendors will be required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated in order to attend the conference. The proof must be provided by March 4^th, 2022 via CrowdPass, a third-party organization.

The CDC considers an individual fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a two-dose vaccine series (Pfizer or Moderna) or two weeks after a single-dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.  If you have registered to attend the conference in person and are unable to meet this requirement, we encourage you to change your registration to attend virtually. If you do not want to attend virtually, AAHHE will provide a refund to you.  For conference presenters, please note that you’re still required to have at least one person of your team present in-person at the conference.

We ask you to please complete your verification of vaccination. Please click the button below to proceed and use your email account to create your CrowdPass account. You will need your vaccination card on hand (or a copy/photo of it saved on your computer) so you can reference the information on it and then take or upload a picture. Accepted file formats for your upload are .png, .jpg, .jpeg, or .pdf.

 We strongly recommend that you complete your verification no later than March 4^th, 2022. CrowdPass follows a thorough two-step verification process which may take up to 24 hours during busy times. Most verifications are completed within an hour or two, but please be patient if you do not receive your confirmation until the next day.
